Order details

Portrait commissions will be accepted with a 25% booking fee to secure a slot in the work diary and waiting list. Once the portrait is completed and you have approved the watermarked portrait via email, you will need to pay the outstanding balance before the portrait is dispatched. You can do this in full however, the portrait will not be delivered until all balances have been fully paid and cleared.

All orders must be paid for either by PayPal or Credit Cards via a PayPal invoice for international payment and bank transfer for UK payments.

Local orders can be paid for with cash upon collection. Please be aware that I work on a first come first serve basis and waiting times can take up to 3 months so please contact me to make sure your portrait can be completed and delivered in the time you need. 

 All orders placed on this website are made to order to your specifications including our standard size frames. It is your responsibility to ensure the sizes and information for personalised items you enter on our website are correct before placing your order. Once the order has been made and received in good condition, we can offer a return policy but the buyer will pay for return postage within 28 days this is only for Angela Cox commissioned art work, portraits are non refundable.

Cancellations

If the customer wishes to cancel prior to agreed upon start date, the payment amount will be retained as loss of business, to cover the artist's time, administration, emails, quotations and payment fees.

If the customer wishes to cancel once the portrait has been started, there will be no refunds and all monies paid will be retained by Angela Cox to cover Artists' time, administration, labour, and materials used.

Portrait Completion Time Scale

An anticipated date of portrait completion will be given at the time of booking. Whilst every effort will be made to meet this, it should not be regarded as an absolute guarantee.​

I keep a log of my portrait commissions allowing 7-10 days to complete each one. My diary is typically filled at least 3 months in advance - so if you need your commission for a specific date please order early.

Portrait Amendments

The client is able to make suggestions to a portrait from photographs which will be carried out at no extra charge, however, if these alterations deviate from the original commission an additional charge may be made to the client. No amendments will be made once the portrait has been approved.

Pricing

Portrait prices are as per the current published portrait price list on my website. Any older business cards or leaflets you may have sadly cannot be honoured.

If a quotation has been prepared for you this price is only valid for 60 days. Once this period has elapsed a new quotation will be required.

All prices shown on this website are in English pounds and are inclusive of VAT.

Payment

You agree to pay for your online order when you confirm your order. We accept payment by PayPal, BACs or Zettle payments.

Returns

All orders are refundable within 28 days this is only for Angela Cox commissioned artwork, portraits are non-refundable. of receiving your purchase, all returns are paid by the buyer and returned in perfect condition for a refund. If the returned item is damaged a refund will not be given unless agreed before returning, we advise insurance when sending back items.

Refusal to Provide Service, Deletion

 Angela Cox may at any time without notice: change or suspend any part of the Service; and/or refuse to fulfill any order and delete any images you have sent to the Service if, in Angela Cox sole discretion, you fail to comply with any of these Terms or if a competent regulatory authority requires The Picture Gallery to do so; and/or delete your digital images following printing. Angela Cox is not obligated to store your digital images for you.

Privacy

Angela Cox is committed to safeguarding privacy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED BY ANGELA COX ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, AND ANGELA COX MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCESSIBLE, USABLE OR ERROR FREE.

You are advised to keep backup copies of all material uploaded through the Service or emailed to Angela Cox.

 ANGELA COX WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING BACKUPS OR FOR THE LOSS OF, DELETION OR CORRUPTION OF, OR DAMAGE TO ANY CONTENT, IMAGES OR ANY OTHER MATERIAL.

YOU AGREE THAT ANGELA COX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE FOR ANY LOSS OF REVENUE, BUSINESS, CONTRACTS, PROFIT, DATA, GOODWILL OR REPUTATION OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ANGELA COX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL APPLY TO LIMIT OR RESTRICT ANGELA COX's LIABILITY IN RESPECT OF FRAUD OR FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM ANGELA COX's NEGLIGENCE.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS APPLIES TO ANGELA COX's LIABILITY IN RESPECT OF ANY PRINTS SUPPLIED TO YOU BY ANGELA COX.

Trademarks 

All trademarks, service marks, names, and other intellectual property used in reference to the Service that identify Angela Cox, or third parties and their products or services belong to Angela Cox and/or the relevant third parties. Neither the offer nor provision of the Service shall be deemed a grant to any person of any licence or right.

Copyright

Angela Cox owns all copyright and database rights in the Service and its contents, unless stated otherwise. Publishing, distributing, extracting, modifying, re-utilising, and reproducing any such content in any form, whether in hard or soft copy form, is strictly prohibited.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between Angela Cox and you with respect to your use of the Service. Angela Cox's failure to enforce any right or provision in these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If a court should find that one or more right or provision contained in these Terms is invalid, the remainder of the Terms shall be enforceable.

No Third-Party Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall confer on any third party any benefit or right to enforce any term of this Agreement. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to these terms.

Exchange Rates

Any currency converter used is for estimation and information only.

Exchange rates will be calculated either by Paypal or as per the current exchange rates during the time of payment. A quotation will be provided for any all commissions, exchange rates will be accurate as of the date on the quotation and valid for 60 days. 

VAT, IMPORT TAX & DUTIES 

If a delivery incurs any import tax, VAT, or duties the Customer or Client is solely responsible for these payments.

Angela Cox cannot be held responsible for any additional charges which may occur.

Unframed portraits will be sent flat packed, with tracking to ensure safe and timely delivery.

All orders are shipped securely with a tracking number to the address you provide. If the item is a gift, it can be shipped directly to the recipient.

Please indicate the address at the time of the order. Most items are shipped within 3-5 business days from portrait completion.​

All portraits are packaged in a very high standard, so in the unlikely event your portrait gets damaged in transit please photograph the packaging and portrait and email Angela Cox immediately. Once received, I will create another portrait at no additional cost. The lead time will depend on my waiting list at the time of the enquiry.​
